Who we are

AjoWork ATS is a recruitment tool. The company you apply to is the controller of your application data. AjoWork processes it on that company's behalf.

What we collect

Only what recruitment needs: your name, contact details, experience, education, answers to role questions, CV or portfolio files, exam answers, optional video, and interview feedback. We do not collect more than a role requires.

Why we use it

To assess your suitability, contact you at each stage, schedule interviews, and record hiring decisions. We do not use automated systems to reject applicants.

Who can see it

Only authorised users of the company you applied to, and interviewers assigned to you. Platform administrators can see account and email-delivery information needed to run the service, but not your files or exam answers. Your files are not public and cannot be opened by link guessing.

Emails

We email you at each stage of your application (for example receipt, shortlist, exam, interview, decision). These are service messages tied to your application.

How long we keep it

For the retention period the employer sets, then it is deleted or anonymised. Unsuccessful applicants can ask for earlier deletion.

Your rights

Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 and similar laws you may ask to access, correct, export or delete your data, withdraw consent, or complain to the regulator. Contact the company you applied to; they must respond within the legal period.

Security

Passwords are hashed, sessions are protected, files are stored privately, and access is logged. Every sign-in to a team account is recorded and emailed to the account holder. No system is perfectly secure; report concerns to the company or platform support.
